CANDIDATE STATEMENT
I love Redondo Beach! As a South Bay native and 30+ year as a South Redondo resident, I enjoy serving my community.
Appointed by the Mayor in 2016, I currently serve on the General Plan Advisory Committee to shape the future of Redondo Beach. I served honorably as a Redondo Public Art Commissioner from 2009-2016. I was instrumental in creating the Commission and the writing of the Public Art Ordinance that has beautified and served Redondo Beach so well.

As your Council Member, I will prioritize our city’s financial health, making sure we keep our roads and parks well-maintained. Keeping Redondo Beach attractive and well-maintained will protect our property values.
I will work to keep our Police and Fire departments local, well-equipped and ready to keep us safe and healthy.

We must modernize city services to streamline the permitting and licensing process, thereby saving time and money. We must attract economic investment to Redondo, specifically our harbor area. Our waterfront presents an incredible opportunity to create a vibrant area for residents, businesses, boaters and visitors.
I respectfully ask for your vote. In return, I will listen to you, the residents, not a political action committee.
